Silia Boukandoul obtained her first degree in Experimental and Life Sciences in 2008, a graduation in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Methods Validation/ Milk and Fat industries in 2011, and her Master degree in Vegetable oils and Fats at the University of Bejaia, Algeria in 2013.
Currently, she is a Ph.D. student in Agroressources and Food Technology, with a dissertation on the “Bioactive Potential of Moringa oleifera at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Life of the University (FSNV) of Bejaia, Algeria, in collaboration with the University of Porto, Portugal.
Her Ph.D. project is under the supervision of Pr. Farid Zaidi of the FSNV and the Pr. Susana Casal of the Faculty of Pharmacy (FFUP), REQUIMTE.
Publications: 1 article in an international scientific journal, 1 oral communication and 1 poster communication in International Congresses in Algeria and Portugal, respectively.
